Lucasta Bath
Programme Assistant
Lucasta Bath is is Programme Assistant for the European Politics and Institutions programme. She holds a BA in Modern Languages from Oxford University, and an LL.M from BPP University, where her research focused on European data privacy laws and the implications of mass data retention by national governments.
Prior to joining the EPC, Lucasta worked as a trainee at LYMEC and for the Renew Europe Group in the European Parliament, where she was involved in coordinating the Group's participation in the Conference on the Future of Europe process. As an undergraduate, she also gained professional experience in a major global news agency in Brussels. Her major interests include the policy challenges posed by emerging technologies and the future of EU-UK relations.
