This re-granting call aims at providing the operational capacity to a partner organisation that would support the EPC’s activities in Project Presidency ahead of the Cypriot Council Presidency. The selected partner organisation would work closely with the EPC to fulfil the objectives of Project Presidency in the Cypriot project edition, including:

  • Establishing an independent dialogue platform to discuss policy priorities in the context of the Cypriot Council Presidency;
  • Providing analysis and recommendations on the Council Presidency;
  • Enhancing exchange between Brussels and Cyprus, leading to a transnationalisation of debates on European affairs;
  • Enhancing European cooperation among think tanks beyond national perspectives.

The Presidency’s partner is expected to co-organise a minimum of two events, taking place either in Belgium, Cyprus and/or online to fulfil the abovementioned objectives by discussing the Presidency’s priorities in connectivity with policy debates between Brussels and Cyprus. The partner will act as the Cypriot hub for cooperation, leading all potential events organised in Cyprus, and communicating, liaising and ensuring visibility with national policy- and decision-makers, experts and civil society representatives based in Cyprus. All activities will be carried out in close cooperation and consultation with the EPC.

The partner will oversee the identification, invitations, and communication with Cypriot speakers and participants. The partner should provide a broad network of the Cypriot policy and civil society community. The partner should also provide proven expertise in a broad variety of policy issues, both concerning the national political debate and the affairs of the EU.
