Annika Hedberg moderated a discussion on ‘Governing Ecologically’, which included an exchange with Arne Jungjohann, author of a study on the participation of the German Greens in federal-state governments; Anna Deparnay-Grunenberg, Member of the European Parliament, The Greens/EFA; Volker Ratzmann, State Secretary, Representative of the State of Baden-Württemberg to the Federal Government; and Virginijus Sinkevičius, European Commissioner, Environment, Oceans and Fisheries. The event was organised by Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung at the State of Baden-Württemberg to the European Union.

Just Transition
Annika Hedberg facilitated a discussion on Climate Change and the Just Transition, which was part of Scotland House Discussion Series. The speakers included Chris Stark, CEO, UK Climate Change Committee; Diederik Samsom, Head of the Cabinet of Executive Vice President Frans Timmermans, European Commission; Professor Jim Skea, Chair of Scotland’s Just Transition Commission and Dr Raphael L’Hoest, Deputy Director-General, Competition and Structural Policy, German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
