The EPC is pleased to announce that Corina Stratulat has been appointed as an Associate Director of the European Policy Centre.

Corina Stratulat is the new Associate Director to join the EPC’s management team. Alongside Elizabeth Kuiper, Georg Riekeles, and Ricardo Borges de Castro, she will help determine the organisation's overall direction and contribute to realising the EPC's mission of championing and improving European integration.

Beyond her role as an Associate Director, Corina will continue to head the European Politics and Institutions programme, focusing on EU enlargement, EU governance, and democratic reform issues.

“I am thrilled to be joining the EPC management team as an Associate Director,” said Corina. “With the 2024 EP elections approaching, it is time for the EU to act strategically and decisively. It must break policy taboos and be honest about the necessary actions to defend its interests and values. These discussions must take place in think tanks like the EPC. I’m extremely proud of the daring and innovative conversations we have been having so far, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to help steer the Union’s future direction.”

At the EPC, Corina has successfully delivered many flagship projects and key analytical publications, establishing herself as an expert on EU enlargement policy towards the Western Balkans, the future of democracy, and citizens’ participation. She has also been spearheading the EPC’s efforts to mainstream a transdisciplinary approach to EU policy analysis and decision-making.

On this new addition to the EPC’s management team, Chief Executive Fabian Zuleeg said: “Corina’s insights, expertise, and experience are extremely valuable. Her work as Head of the European Politics and Institutions programme has been crucial to our mission of improving European integration. Throughout the years, Corina has striven tirelessly to ensure the EU can move forward and respond to the challenges of the 21st century. I welcome her to the management team, and I look forward to continuing working with her to develop the EPC further.”
