Two traineeship/Intern positions 



The European Policy Centre (EPC) is looking for a Programme Assistant to join the European Politics and Institutions (EPI) Programme, and a Research Assistant to support the work of the Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive.  

Both positions are traineeships and offered for a period of six months (with the possibility of a maximum 6-month extension) under the Convention Immersion Professionelle (CIP) for a fee of 1,175 Euros per month, starting as soon as possible. 

The successful candidates should have a solid academic background, an understanding of EU institutions and interest in the work of EPI and the EPC. 

 Candidates should have the following profile:

  • University degree (Bachelor and/or Master) in a relevant subject,
  • Previous relevant experience (internship would suffice) in organising events
  • Good communication skills (oral and written),
  • Some experience in research,
  • Interest in European affairs,
  • Self-disciplined, creative and able to work in a multinational team,
  • Fluency in English (oral and written); additional languages a plus.

The main duties are:

  • Supporting the analysts in organising events (drafting event proposals, invitations and programmes, liaising with speakers and partners, assisting during the events)
  • Background research upon request (In the case of the research assistant)
  • Calendar management for the CEO/D-CEO
