Emma Seppänen
Programme Assistant
Emma Seppänen is a Programme Assistant in the Sustainable Prosperity for Europe Programme at the European Policy Centre.
 
Prior to joining the EPC, Emma worked for the Helsinki Region Environmental Services Authority as a project assistant and guide, where she focused on waste and wastewater management practices, R&D, and citizen engagement. She also worked as an Environmental Protection Trainee for the City of Lahti in Finland and was a volunteer for Una Europa, an alliance of European universities.
 
Emma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy. Her Master’s degree in Global Sustainability from the University of Helsinki focused on environmental policy and economics.
