Franziska Höhne
Project Assistant
Franziska Höhne is Project Assistant for “Connecting Europe”, a joint initiative by EPC and Stiftung Mercator which aims to connect civil society organisations with the Brussels policy community. Her fields of expertise are populism, right-wing extremism, electoral behaviour, as well as migration and border studies. She also works as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Global Cooperation Research at the University Duisburg-Essen in the field of global cooperation and world order conceptions.
Prior to that, she worked at the European Commission, DG Research & Innovation as Blue Book Trainee and as Programme Coordinator at the German Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Furthermore, she gained professional experience during internships at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, the German parliament, and the Permanent Mission of Germany to the UN in Geneva.
She holds a Master's degree in Global Studies and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Communication Science.
