The “Think Global – Act European” project brought together 16 think tanks and over 40 experts to examine the new challenges faced by the EU’s external action and reflect on the EU’s role as a global power. The report “THINK GLOBAL – ACT EUROPEAN IV, THINKING STRATEGICALLY ABOUT THE EU’S EXTERNAL ACTION” makes recommendations for concrete action in promoting European economic interest worldwide, sustainable management of strategic resources, meeting the demographic and migration challenge, and addressing neighbourhood policy and defence capacities. The report shows that the EU must address its coordination problems in external action and reconsider its interests and the means to achieve them.
