The Coalition for Health, Ethics and Society (CHES) aims to promote multi-stakeholder dialogue between health and non-health practitioners on topical health issues. CHES events and publications particular attention to the ethical aspects of health and issues regarding access to healthcare, affordability and patient choice. CHES is a joint initiative by the EPC and Johnson & Johnson. Its activities are governed by a Steering Committee and managed by the EPC. CHES is independent of all stakeholders. In 2022-2023, the overarching theme is ‘Health and Well-being for Europe’s Recovery. In this context, CHES activities will focus on ways to align the European recovery from COVID-19 with the promotion of individual and societal well-being.
