Sara Viitanen
Junior Policy Analyst
Sara Viitanen joined the EPC in October 2019 as a Programme Assistant for the Sustainable Prosperity for Europe programme. She supports Annika Hedberg and Stefan Sipka with their work on climate and energy policies, circular economy and environmental policy.
Prior to joining the EPC, she worked with the Finland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU (2019) as well as conducted an internship at the European Parliament following the work of the ENVI committee (2018).
Sara holds a Master’s degree in European Affairs from Lund University (Sweden) and a Bachelor’s degree in English and International Studies from Aalborg University (Denmark).
