Claudiu Vladut Asandei
Programme Assistant
Claudiu Vladut Asandei is a Programme Assistant for the Sustainable Prosperity for Europe programme at the European Policy Centre (EPC). He works with Annika Hedberg and Johan Bjerkem focusing on convening management, as well as monitoring and analysing developements on trade, digital affairs, single market and sustainable developement.
Prior to joining the EPC, he worked at the Aspen Institute in Bucharest (2015) and at the German Marshall Fund of the United Strates in Brussels (2015 – 2017) where he was part of the Major Convening team. Throughout his career, he managed and organised several large scale events such as the Atlantic Dialogues, and worked on transatlantic security, digital single market and trade.
He holds a Bachelors in International Relations and European Studies and is in the final stages of obtaining the Masters in Conflict and Security from Brussels School of International Studies, University of Kent.
