As the EU and Japan grapple with growing economic security challenges, tariff wars, and the erosion of the WTO, strengthening their strategic cooperation has never been more urgent. Both have developed frameworks to mitigate supply chain vulnerabilities, protect critical industries, and navigate the balance between resilience and openness. This in-person Policy Dialogue will explore the evolving synergies of their economic security strategies and the role of international partnerships in stabilising a fracturing global trade order.

Participation is open to EPC members only, the media and EU officials.
