The project “E-waste and the creation of a digital circular economy” explores the role of digitalisation in improving the management of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), ways to make this management more circular in the EU and worldwide, and how these efforts could be better supported via policies. The project comprises a workshop and additional research activities, which will lead to the Discussion Paper. The project is implemented by the European Policy Centre, supported by the WEEE Forum and funded by SENS eRecycling. The project was carried out between 2019 and 2021.
