The view from the continent: What people in other member states think about the UK referendum

16 March 2016

This Policy Dialogue examined and debated the findings of a major research project between the University of Edinburgh and German think tank d|part into other EU member state attitudes towards the UK referendum on EU membership. This project is the only comprehensive, representative survey to have looked systematically at citizens’ attitudes towards the referendum in six member states: Ireland, Germany, France, Poland, Sweden and Spain. It is part of the UK in a Changing Europe programme, funded by the UK's Economic and Social Research Council, and coordinated under the auspices of AQMeN, a research network based at the University of Edinburgh.
