Ivano di Carlo
Senior Policy Analyst
Ivano di Carlo is a Senior Policy Analyst in the Europe in the World Programme at the European Policy Centre. Before joining the EPC, he worked at NATO for the Defence Investment Division and the Executive Management. Prior to that, he gained experience working at the European Investment Bank, as a Research Assistant at the University of Warwick, as a Government Affairs and Corporate Communications Trainee at Boeing. His primary research interests include China’s foreign policy, security and defence, and the Indo-Pacific region, with a particular focus on ASEAN. 

He holds a Master’s Degree in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick as well as a Double Degree (MA) in Public Policy and Political Analysis from the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and International Politics and Markets from the University of Bologna where he obtained a BA in International and Diplomatic Affairs.
