General Assembly

The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body of the EPC.

Composition

The General Assembly is composed of all the “effective” members (membres effectifs) of the association, each of whom has the right to vote.

General Assembly members, other than those appointed ex-officio and the strategic partners, have a fixed mandate of five years with the possibility of renewal, on a proposal from the Governing Board.

Powers

The following matters are the exclusive competence of the General Assembly:

  • approval of budgets and accounts;
  • election, discharge and revocation of “administrateurs”, i.e. Board members;
  • amendments to the Articles of Association;
  • dissolution of the association;
  • exclusion of members.

Meetings

Meetings of the General Assembly are prepared by the Governing Board, which decides the agenda. The General Assembly meets once a year.
